At the 2007 Plan Expo B&G had the opportunity to introduce some of the exciting new range of Premium Products to the B&G Applications Collection which will be available from August 2008.

 The "Applications" Riverdale Collection is a stunning range of pre-glazed external timber doors made from the Class A timber called Merbau. 'Applications' featured its Engineered Doors as well as the famous Vu Fold Door on the local
TV station 'City Channel'. Kathy Hoffman, journalist in interiors and international property presented the
collection of internal and external doors that reflects the growing trends in interior design.

With stunning footage from the 'Applications' showroom and an off site location, Kathy captured features, designs and ideas of the
exciting range of 'Applications' products. Main focus during the show was the Vu Fold Door - the sliding folding door that brings
the outside inside. The door marries features of a window with the usability of a door and is popular in new builds and renovation
projects.

B&G Ltd. exhibited its full range of products during the 2007 IHBMA Irish Hardware, DIY, Housewares & Garden trade fair. The bi-annual trade show organised on behalf of the Irish Hardware and Building Materials Association was the perfect ground for B&G Ltd. to show its full product range. B&G Ltd. thus had the biggest stand during the trade show exhibiting products in the areas DIY, BATHROOM and HOME & GARDEN.

New to the offer this year was a line of irrigation products - ELGO. This brand not only had a great success amongst our customers - the ELGO fertilizing and oscillating sprinkler also won the IHBMA New Product Award of the show in the area New Products - Garden. B&G is delighted with the price as it awards B&G's commitment to its New Product Policy.

Due to the wide selection of high quality home products B&G Ltd. has been selected to support the interior designer Anne Tuohy in the famous designer competition showhouse. B&G Ltd. provided a selection of DIY, Bathroom and Home&Garden products to design the house that could win the show. The houseowner, famous boy band singer Shane Filan, was impressed with the look of the house.

Irelands leading door brand Applications has revealed details of its new Vu Fold Door which will be available by the end of June 2006 nationwide. This step has been made due to the increasing popularity of folding sliding patio doors.

The Vu Fold Door was on view at last years Plan Expo exhibition in Dublin and was very well received by all construction industry experts present. The Door system can be used as a single door or in summer to be opened completely to bring the outside inside. Using a state of the art top hung system the door allows smooth sliding and folding action.
Each door is made of an engineered hardwood core faced with 3mm thick American White Oak ready to be finished. The doors are fitted with a 24mm thick double glazed unit with low E glass and warm edge space bars to meet with BS62006A. The set comes predrilled with hardware as well as the frame and has been weather tested to BS6375 part 1.

The system will be available in two sizes 2390mm(w) x 2090mm(h) and 1790mm(w) x 2090mm(h) (brick opening).
